Elles "m'accrochent" (dans tous ses rôles), je les trouve extraordinaires mais je ne saurais pas bien préciser pourquoi (une sorte de grâce ?). Elles sont expressives en elle-mêmes et cela a dû être noté par d'autres observateurs / admirateurs attentifs : il existe un podcast sur Brett / Holmes (je crois qu'il s'intitule "the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes podcast") qui réserve une partie de l'analyse de certains épisodes à son "hands acting". Une amicale poignée de... main, 😉 !

@@djmotise He did a commendable job. A shame the rest of the series couldn't be half as good as his rapport with Freeman.

Nothing is wrong with his face! Benedict Cumberbatch has excellent acting skill. It's a shame the writers couldn’t use his and Freeman's potential. They drifted away from the story and made it some wattpad fanfiction from season 3 and onward. Season 2 was somehow decent.

@@coffeemachtspass is right here. Btw, I also thought Holmes was rude for some time. But the more often I watched it, the more it became funny. There is another clip in episode 1 when a king reached out his hand to shake hands with Holmes, Holmes left in that very moment (which looks very rude), and Watson shakes hands with the king instead. If you repeatedly watch that scene, it becomes very funny at the end, too. There are some brilliant scenes and very funny scenes in that series. You only need to discover them. May have to do with the fact that Sherlock’s brother Mycroft has a “social club for unsociable people”. The so-called Diogenes Club. 😂

Naw. He finds her interesting. He observes her beauty, but only as a relevant factor, the same way he observes her bootlaces and shirtcuffs. WATSON is attracted to her beauty, definitely.

P S indeed. He looks way more handsome (If that's possible) whith his hair combed to the side rather than severely slacked back like it is usually, but then again they don't want a too handsome Holmes do they ?

"The Solitary Cyclist" was the first produced episode of the series with Jeremy Brett. Maybe they revised the role of Sherlock Holmes a bit afterwards.
